Mr. Buff is enjoying his second year at Shining Rock after retiring from the NC Public School System in June, 2022. During his 30 year career in education, he served as a teacher, assistant principal, and coach (basketball, track, cross country). He was nominated as his school's Teacher of the Year at Valley Springs Middle School in Asheville, Lake Norman High School in Mooresville, and Tuscola High School in Waynesville. Mr. Buff's hobbies include reading, hiking/running, home improvement projects, and traveling.
