Dillon’s path to becoming an educator has been one of varied learning. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management (B.S.N.R.M.) from Western Carolina University and later completed a Master of Theological Studies (MTS) from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is grateful for the opportunity to use this diverse educational background to enrich the classroom experience.
He was fortunate to spend three years serving at Haywood Christian Academy, both as a middle school and high school educator and in the role of Director of Student Discipleship. These experiences were invaluable in learning how to best support and encourage students.
When not teaching, Dillon enjoys the simple pleasures of the outdoors, including hunting, fishing, and hiking. He also finds time for quiet pursuits like reading, writing, and music. He is truly looking forward to connecting with students and facilitating a successful year of learning together.
