Amanda has worked at Shining Rock since it opened in 2015. She served as ESL teacher and occupational therapist for three years before transitioning to her role as Spanish teacher in 2018. She currently teaches middle school and high school Spanish and continues her role as ESL teacher. She will graduate from NC Teachers of Tomorrow this spring with a teaching license in K-12 Spanish. Amanda's interests outside of school include reading, exercising and spending time with her husband, their 3 children and 5 pets.
