My name is Ashley Price. I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida where I received a bachelors in Psychology and a bachelors in Criminology from the University of South Florida. I taught high school Math for 5 years before moving up to North Carolina in 2019. This is my 2nd year at Shining Rock teaching 7th grade. I am a mother of a 2 year old boy. I am also avid equestrian having ridden horses since I was 2.
Growing up, my favorite subject was Math but I always thought it was difficult and I compared it to learning a new language. I had an amazing teacher who helped me understand and fall in love with learning and because of her, I've always aspired to be that teacher for others.
