Ms. Black is a fifth-grade math and science teacher with a Bachelor's Degree in biology and chemistry. Before becoming an educator, she worked in the medical field, which sparked her passion for helping students explore how the world around them works. She loves bringing hands-on experiments and real-world connections into the classroom to make learning meaningful and engaging. Ms. Black is dedicated to fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of discovery in all her students.
From a young age, I can remember getting lost in a good book and being encouraged by my teachers to pursue lifelong learning. I hope to instill this motivation and imagination in my students.
