My name is Rebecca Haley. I was born and raised in Waynesville, NC. I received my Bachelor's of Science in Environmental Studies at University of North Carolina at Asheville. I am currently working on my Master's of Sustainability and Education at Lenoir Rhyne University.
During my Internship at the Western North Carolina Nature Center, I noticed the importance of educating people about the native wildlife. One of my favorite education programs to teach was about the local reptiles, I always enjoy teaching about animals that people might encounter when on a hike.
