I graduated from Mars Hill University with a Bachelors degree in physical education and a concentration in health and wellness. I have taught at Shining Rock for 4 years and I could not imagine teaching anywhere else.
I have a one year old, Tucker, and another boy on the way. My husband Robert and I live in Clyde. I was born and raised in Sparta, NC. My husband and I met in college. I love teaching first graders; teaching reading is my favorite. I enjoy inspiring children to learn and strive for their goals!
