I graduated from Texas Lutheran University in 1977 With a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education. Following a career in another field, I taught for about 25 years in a number of different settings, including a private school, the reservation school in Cherokee, a traditional public school, and here at Shining Rock. I currently maintain a K-6 license in North Carolina.
Educating children is both a priority and a challenge for parents. School choice is a powerful tool to help parents meet that challenge.
